Here is a recipe for making mango ice cream at home:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Puree the mangoes in a blender or food processor until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. Gradually add the condensed milk and sugar to the whipped cream, beating until well combined.
  4. Fold in the mango puree and cardamom (if using).
  5. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
  6. Scoop and serve!

Tips:

  • For a smoother ice cream, strain the mango puree before adding it to the whipped cream.
  • If you don't have sweetened condensed milk, you can make your own by combining 1 cup of milk with 1 cup of sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Let cool completely before using.
  • To prevent the ice cream from getting too hard, let it soften for a few minutes at room temperature before serving.
  • You can also add other ingredients to the ice cream, such as chopped nuts, chocolate chips, or dried fruit.

   Enjoy!
