Chicken finger kabab is a popular snack or appetizer that is made with ground chicken,
spices, and bread crumbs. It is then deep fried until golden brown and crispy. Chicken finger kabab is often served with a dipping sauce, such as ketchup, mayonnaise, or chutney.

Ingredients:

  • 300 grams chicken mince
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon chicken powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 lemon
  • Bread crumbs as required
  • Crushed cheese puffs as required
  • 2 eggs
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine the chicken mince, white pepper, chili flakes, black pepper, chicken powder, oregano, and salt. Mix well.
  2. Add the lemon juice and mix again.
  3. Form the chicken mixture into kebabs of around 80 grams each.
  4. In a bowl, combine the crushed cheese puffs and bread crumbs.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs.
  6. Dip the kebabs in the dry mixture, then in the eggs, and then in the dry mixture again.
  7. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  8. Fry the kebabs until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
  9. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Tips:

  • For extra flavor, add some chopped onions, cilantro, and/or garlic to the chicken mixture.
  • If you don't have cheese puffs, you can use crushed crackers or cornflakes instead.
  • To make sure the kebabs are cooked through, insert a toothpick into the center. If the toothpick comes out clean, the kebabs are done.
  • Chicken finger kabab can be served as an appetizer, snack, or main course. They are also a great addition to potlucks and parties.
